Repeat Prescriptions Information

All repeat prescriptions are recorded and issued from our Practice computer and will have a counterfoil attached to them.

This gives a complete list of all your prescribed medicines.  To obtain a repeat prescription please hand in the counterfoil or send by fax, or by post mark on it the items you require by ticking the box next to the medicine you wish to obtain.

We regret prescriptions requests will not be accepted over the telephone.

The prescription will then be available 48 hours later, between the hours of 9:00a.m - 6:00p.m. Monday to Friday.  Please be aware that the surgery is closed between 12:00noon - 2:00p.m every Friday for staff training.

From time to time you will be asked to make an appointment with the Doctor or Practice Nurse to review and discuss your medication and make sure you continue to receive the appropriate medicines.

Please note: only items listed on your counterfoil will be processed.  If you request an item that is not listed on your counterfoil you will be asked to make an appointment with the Doctor.

Patients should be aware that most pharmacies can now arrange for patients' prescriptions to be collected from the practice on their behalf. To arrange this please contact your own pharmacist directly.

We have launched a E-prescriptions - this service enables internet users to order repeat prescriptions online.

If you would like to register for this service please ask at the reception desk.

Once you have registered go to the link on the home page for E-Prescriptions to access the service.
